Dr.-Ing. Joschka zur Jacobsmühlen studied electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and researched image-based process monitoring methods for laser powder bed fusion during his PhD studies at the institute of imaging and computer vision (RWTH Aachen University). Since 2017 he is a research engineer at Materialise Bremen where he works on process monitoring for metal 3D printing, data analysis and new methods for build preparation.
