I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in energy technology at the FH Aachen. Meanwhile I also did a vocational training as an industrial mechanic in the area of mechanical and plant technology. I continued with a Master’s degree in Product Development in Mechanical Engineering at the FH Aachen. I was an assistant scientist at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering of RWTH Aachen University, before becoming a research assistant in the department of Gear Technology Research Group Gear Soft Machining at the same university.
