Presenter

Pannitz, Oliver
Ruhr University Bochum

I obtained my Bachelor’s degree for Mechanical Engineering at Dortmund University and my Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Bochum University. After doing a student internship at the PRETTL Group in Greenville, USA, I worked as a student employee for Siemens AG and became a Master’s thesis student there, dealing with an approach to quantify the effect of machine-specific variations of commercial L-PBF systems on process results. Since 2018 I am a research assistant for the research project “Development of surface tailored metal powders for increased production efficiency at the laser powder-bed fusion additive manufacturing process”, which is part of the DFG-Priority Program SPP 2122MATframe.
