Presenter

Korn, Hannes
Fraunhofer IWU
After his high school graduation in Bremen and a one-year stay in Tanzania as part of the "weltwärts" program of the MBZ, Hannes Korn studied mechanical engineering at the Technische Universität Dresden from 2009 to 2017. Since 2016 he has been working at the Fraunhofer IWU in the department "Additive Technologies", improving the additive manufacturing of filigree structures by means of laser beam melting, first as part of his diploma thesis, since 2017 as a research associate. His current research focuses on the improvement of component quality and increasing the economic efficiency in the production of filigree component areas by using geometry-adaptive scan-strategies.
