Dr. Niklas Kretzschmar, is a post-doctoral researcher at Aalto University (Finland) in the department of production engineering, group of additive manufacturing. His research focuses on technical and economic additive manufacturing applications as well as on material development and testing for additive manufacturing. He has received a MSc in Mechanical Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in 2015 and has been working in the manufacturing industry and IT sector before starting his PhD. Born in 1988, growing up in Traunstein, Germany.
