Danny Lubosch achieved a Masters degree in mechanical engineering at Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin back in 2018. While studying he was already working for many different institutes and companies like Fraunhofer IPK, Wincor Nixdorf and Siemens. Already concentrating on wire arc AM within his masters thesis "Validation of geometric properties in relation to process parameters for 3D metal printing with arc and wire" he started his research activities in this aspiring field. After his masters thesis he began working as an R&D engineer at Berlin based company GEFERTEC GmbH and is now responsible for process development.
